Praying Regularly Always Yields (2 of 2) – Wednesday, October 21, 2026

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah – Psalm 62:8

By encouraging me to feel,
With Him I can always be real,
And know that every word
Won’t be ignored, but heard.

Attentiveness is a valuable attribute in a friend, particularly during a conversation.  That the person seated across from you exhibits the behavior of someone who’s actively engaged through eye contact and posture.  That the person is willing to give you the floor: freedom to talk and be listened to.  And that you can feel comfortable enough to be yourself without pretense.

While desired characteristics in a human friend require time and mutual cultivation, such isn’t the case with our Spiritual Friend.  God’s Word expresses His desire to commune with us and that He seeks transparency, which David spoke of in Psalm 51:6: “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.”  So, we can pray,  hearts open and minds relaxed, knowing God is waiting for us.
