Never Lacking – Sunday, October 25, 2026

For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing – Deuteronomy 2:7

It’s not just about unloading,
That makes time with You rewarding.

It’s knowing that I can share my day—
The things I didn’t like or wish to stay.

That keeps me always coming back,
To a friendship I’ll never lack.

Freedom, acceptance, understanding, and guidance are just a few of the many benefits derived from spending time with God through prayer.  It’s the awareness of key verses, such as: “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing” (Psalm 34:10) and “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11).  And that even matters not spoken will be attended to as promised: “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24).

Hopefully, this week’s conversations have reinforced your desire to continue spending time with your trusted Friend.  The rewards are endless, which I’m certain you’ve discovered, like me, are never lacking.
