Dear Lord,
I seek spiritual earplugs
To sanitize what I hear
From disturbances unavoidably near.
I seek spiritual earplugs
To guard me from within,
Like sunscreen protects the skin.
I seek spiritual earplugs
So my mind will purposely reject
Any potentially harmful effect.
While we won’t always have access, and in some cases, be permitted physical earplugs to block out potentially harmful chatter, when in receipt of spiritual earplugs, what’s heard won’t matter. Because God will protect our minds from negative toxins. So, as you prepare for your upcoming week, I encourage you to seek earplugs that won’t fail.
