Before I close this day
There are things I need to say
To reflect my gratitude
For Your being by my side
As my Friend and my Guide
You got me through
The ups and the downs
The smiles and the frowns
So as May comes to an end
And a new month will begin
I want You to know
What, at times, I forget to show
Which is why I wrote
This heartfelt Thank You Note
Just as hotels will often leave postcards for guests to comment on their stay, so did I feel led to reflect on these last thirty-one days. I wanted to express my gratitude for God’s faithfulness in keeping promises as per His Word. While my time in May wasn’t entirely to my liking, it nevertheless warrants thankful recognition.
I encourage you to take some time to reflect upon your time in May. I’m certain you’ll find, despite the ups and the downs, that you have sufficient reason to write God a heartfelt Thank You Note.
