Waters – Monday, June 29, 2026

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water – Isaiah 41:18

My eyes are on you, Daughter.
Don’t be afraid of the waters;
They are all under my control,
Positioned to play a role.

So, think of them as your streams,
Stirring and flowing from your dreams,
That in their appointed time
Will be more than thoughts in your mind.

You don’t have the means to do it.  It’s beyond your reach.   These were the conclusions reached as I pondered an endeavor that seemed futile. Metaphorically, they were perceived to be waters with currents too strong for me to swim against; therefore, I needed to turn around.   Yet, I was reassured of God’s ability to turn tumultuous waters into calm streams, “He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still” (Psalm 107:29).

Do you feel inspired to pursue a particular venture? Do you also believe it to be unreachable? I’m learning that those waters—doubts and fears—when not allowed to discourage, can become the stirring and flowing of dreams. That will be manifested in God’s appointed time.
