I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name – Revelation 3:8
Runners in a relay race don’t arbitrarily show up to participate, nor do they land in position to receive the baton by mistake. Their inclusion in the race—and the precise timing of the handoff—was designed long before the starter pistol ever fired. When you apply this metaphor to your own life, your current season, this new month, and the baton of future achievements all take on a deeper meaning.
Now it’s your turn to envision yourself in a relay race, having been handed a baton that metaphorically represents divinely appointed discoveries, creative ideas, and amazing accomplishments. Remember, God never puts you in a race He’s not fully involved in, or one where He won’t equip you with the muscles to run it successfully.
