“Was that the 109?” asked the man, nearly out of breath. “Yep, I just arrived shortly after it pulled off,” the lady calmly responded, “sit down before you fallout.” “My car wouldn’t start, so I ran all the way just to get on that bus. I have an important meeting this morning.” “Well, not to worry, the 113 will be arriving soon. It will take you to where another 109 stops about five minutes later. And you won’t have to worry about missing it. Here it comes,” the woman assured, pointing.
Have you entered trustingly? This question came to mind while composing the opening scenario, causing me to ponder even further. Do I believe that God is always amid every situation, even those that seem to be dead ends? And do I believe that God’s thoughts, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11, are for my good and that any discomforts are temporary? While my answers may not directly resolve certain issues, they will affect my ability to handle them.
Have you chosen to enter May trustingly, no matter what has followed you in? Being in a new month won’t quash lingering problems; however, maintaining your faith in God, who’s in control, will make the path towards their resolution smoother.
