For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, have everlasting life – John 3:16

“Thank you so much, Junior, for programming those reminders on my television so I won’t forget,” Grammy said. “No problem, Grammy, glad to help.  But what’s so special about The Voice? There are others like it,” Junior inquired. “None of them are as unbiased as my show. It’s all about the voice. The judges aren’t concerned about anything else,” Grammy explained. “You know what, I think you’ve talked me into turning my chair around to check the show out,” Junior said jokingly.

Although The Voice’s unquestionable popularity is largely due to its unique concept to prevent biased selections, it nevertheless isn’t foolproof.  Hopeful singers have been and will continue to be rejected. However, as Christians, our salvation has nothing to do with being good enough.  Jesus went to the cross to atone for our inability to be sinless, making us righteous through Him.

Unlike talent shows and other competitive venues, salvation is a gift for anyone willing to trust in an unbiased Savior. It’s available to those willing to turn their chair around.
