Victories, no matter their sizes
Are much-needed prizes
For the exhausted soul
A glorious sight to behold
No matter if large or small
Each one of them all
Have been gift wrapped from above
Deserving of a heartfelt expression of love
The poem was composed from a place of gratitude involving a problem for which I sought God’s direction in its resolution. After complying with my responsibilities, I waited. Yet, nothing changed after many days. Then came a recognizable shift, and I began to see tangible improvements, which prompted me to remember “In every thing give thanks.” That includes all victories, even the small ones.
