For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them – Ecclesiastes 9:1
Some things are uncertain,
So, I know not to rely.
As they cause me to question
Whether true or a lie.
But one thing I know for sure,
That’s never caused a doubt,
Proven many times before—
What faith is all about.
When willing to recognize,
Even if visually unshown
What my heart’s eyes,
Have unequivocally known.
God’s Hands are over me,
It’s this I sense;
Even if not to see,
I feel His presence.
I can walk with assurance,
Trusting He’s my guide
Along a path of endurance,
With God by my side.
As we begin the final week of October, it’s easy to feel pressured by upcoming celebratory events. Which is why remembering God’s presence is so important. Envisioning that He is governing our comings and goings makes everything easier to handle.
While there are questionable happenings in this world, our relationship with God isn’t one of them. His hands are always over us; therefore, we can feel assured that we will endure whatever is on our path today and in the future.
