God is always talking,
It could be when I’m still,
Or when leisurely walking,
That He imparts His will.
It could be a single thought
That suddenly comes to me—
A message He brought
To bring guidance and clarity.
Every utterance of each word
Is stored in a mental note,
That I believed and heard
As a divinely inspired quote.
Just as Elijah found God’s voice to be a ‘still small voice’ (1 Kings 19:12), so I can reflect upon the times when God has spoken to me through a divinely inspired thought. In these moments, I have witnessed a message for a situation I was facing or an issue I would face later—whether relational, financial, or spiritual.
