But I urged against a snap judgment, because he might be talking to God.\u00a0 Why do you ask?\u201d \u201cI\u2019m going to use that as an example for my Sunday school homework assignment about how praying comes in all forms, and that you shouldn\u2019t care what others think,\u201d Junior answered.<\/p>\n<p>I like Junior had formed similar opinions of people talking to themselves.\u00a0 That is until I found myself doing the same thing a couple of times, when I publicly chose to converse with God.\u00a0 \u00a0 Consequently, I no longer readily jump to my former conclusion when seeing someone seemingly talking to himself or herself.\u00a0 \u00a0I now choose to consider them possibly communing with a trusted Friend.<\/p>\n<p>Praying, while it should be considered sacred, should not be perceived as a rigid engagement conditioned to certain times and places. Talking to God is an unlimited personal experience that&#8217;s just as meaningful if conducted publicly or privately.
