{"id":13362,"date":"2026-09-13T18:50:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T18:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=13362"},"modified":"2026-09-13T18:50:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T18:50:09","slug":"the-sweetest-sound-monday-september-14-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/the-sweetest-sound-monday-september-14-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sweetest Sound &#8211; Monday, September 14, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Proverbs 17:22<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If given the choice to choose<br \/>\nwhat I hope never to lose,<br \/>\nit would be, without a doubt,<br \/>\nwhat I dare not live without:<br \/>\nthe music to my heart and ears<br \/>\nthat repels my worries and fears.<\/p>\n<p>When I unhesitatingly join in\u2014<br \/>\nas if invited by a friend<br \/>\nto take a spiritual bath<br \/>\nby allowing myself to laugh\u2014<br \/>\noh, what healing I\u2019ve found<br \/>\nin that sweetest sound!<\/p>\n<p>The opening is inspired by wonderful memories of my grandson\u2019s contagious laughter. I&#8217;ll often be involved in a task, only to be distracted by his boisterous utterances while he watches animated shows, which usually include him performing a jig. Soon thereafter, I find myself joining in his happy state, where that sweet sound is the only thing that matters.<\/p>\n<p>One of the greatest gifts God has equipped us with is the ability to find humor in even the most mundane situations.
