{"id":13280,"date":"2026-08-16T21:32:04","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T21:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=13280"},"modified":"2026-08-16T21:36:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T21:36:22","slug":"treated-equally-sunday-august-23-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/treated-equally-sunday-august-23-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Treated Equally\u00a0&#8211; Sunday, August 23, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2 Corinthians 5:15\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As I stood in line<br \/>\nIt never crossed my mind<br \/>\nThat I would be treated unequally<br \/>\nBut it soon became the case<br \/>\nWhen I was forced to face<br \/>\nThat I would be treated differently<\/p>\n<p>Was it the color of my skin<br \/>\nThat caused the woman<br \/>\nTo have graciously served<br \/>\nThe one who took<br \/>\nWhat I had not forsook<br \/>\nYet granted what I deserved<\/p>\n<p>So, it\u2019s clear to see<br \/>\nIt\u2019s only Jesus\u2019 love that guarantees<br \/>\nEvery person will be treated equally<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you have had a similar experience, and it made you rightly upset to be treated unfairly. While the reality is that such biased behavior will continue until Jesus returns, we can nevertheless take comfort in knowing that we serve a God who loves us all the same. Jesus\u2019 death on the cross \u201cfor all\u201d was proof.
