I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith \u2013 2 Timothy 4:7<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n So\u00a0I’ll never give up\u00a0 The opening chorus from the soundtrack for Men of Honor<\/em> highlights the key elements of a winning spirit, and they each begin with an essential word: \u201cNever.\u201d This encompasses a mindset that chooses not to quit, no matter the odds. For a Christian, this means forging forward along a path, unless instructed otherwise by God. It is the recognition of limitations without allowing them to limit zeal and determination to finish their course, as the apostle Paul did.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve learned a winning spirit doesn\u2019t require favorable odds. It only requires faith to believe oneself a winner, someone unwilling to see oneself any other way. How are you feeling this Sunday?
