I can remember many times I expressed that thought. I longed for Him in the flesh, to have the type of companionship that\u2019s found in human form. However, as I\u2019ve grown more enlightened and applied the words of John 9:39: \u201cthat they which see not might see,\u201d I\u2019ve discovered how to have blind assurance. The greater my desire to connect with Jesus, the more apparent His presence through the Holy Spirit is. As a result, I recognize His inseparable companionship.<\/p>\n<p>While we are assured as Christians of the Holy Spirit\u2019s presence, God knows the importance of having human friendships.
