{"id":12830,"date":"2026-05-24T20:01:45","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T20:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=12830"},"modified":"2026-05-24T20:23:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T20:23:18","slug":"the-gap-2-wednesday-may-27-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/the-gap-2-wednesday-may-27-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Gap (2) &#8211; Wednesday, May 27, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Philippians 3:13<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Living in the gap, for me<br \/>\nIs where I didn&#8217;t expect to be<br \/>\nQuestioning what went wrong<br \/>\nIs this where I belong<\/p>\n<p>But\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0the place I reconcile<br \/>\nWith thankfulness, to graciously smile<br \/>\nKnowing that even here<br \/>\nGod&#8217;s presence is always near<\/p>\n<p>So with full assurance<br \/>\nI ignore any reluctance<br \/>\nAs I proactively believe<br \/>\nI have much more to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>Apostle Paul learned how to live in his gap, to be content in every situation, by perceiving every season as an opportunity for his ministry.\u00a0 \u00a0 This was the case as recorded in Acts 16:25-34, when apostle Paul and Silas, while imprisoned, led a jailer to Jesus Christ.\u00a0 But Apostle Paul wasn&#8217;t complacent, as he projected forward motion: \u201cI press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus\u201d (Philippians 3:14).
