{"id":12825,"date":"2026-05-24T19:25:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T19:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=12825"},"modified":"2026-05-24T19:53:32","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T19:53:32","slug":"the-gap-1-tuesday-may-26-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/the-gap-1-tuesday-may-26-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Gap\u00a0(1) &#8211; Tuesday, May 26, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Not that I speak in respect of\u00a0want:\u00a0for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Philippians 4:11<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrammy, I\u2019m finished with my homework.\u00a0\u00a0I now know what living in the gap has to do with Philippians 4:11!\u201d Junior excitedly declared. \u201cGreat.\u00a0\u00a0Tell me,\u201d Grammy jovially requested.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s my not being bummed out over not always getting A&#8217;s.\u00a0 That I should be contented with C\u2019s.\u201d \u201cJunior Sweetie, apostle Paul wasn&#8217;t talking about settling,&#8221; Grammy said with a smile. \u201cMom and Dad said the same thing, right before telling me they plan on lowering my weekly allowance to prevent me from being too content living in my gap,&#8221; Junior announced.<\/p>\n<p>Apostle Paul&#8217;s message about contentment was one I, too, needed to learn to gain the right perspective on.\u00a0 It required me to understand that when written, the apostle Paul was in prison, which wasn&#8217;t where he desired to be.
