{"id":12764,"date":"2026-05-10T20:36:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T20:36:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=12764"},"modified":"2026-05-10T20:49:05","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T20:49:05","slug":"intentional-living-1-thursday-may-14-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/intentional-living-1-thursday-may-14-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Intentional Living\u00a0(1) &#8211; Thursday, May 14, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Thy kingdom come,\u00a0Thy\u00a0will be done in earth, as it is in heaven \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Matthew 6:10\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Has anyone met our new boss?&#8221; asked Howard, one of three employees gathered within the conference room.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cNope,\u201d Candice answered, &#8220;but I heard he\u2019s bringing with him a new playbook, which means drastic changes.&#8221; &#8220;Well, I hope his new playbook is similar to the one my pastor talked about on Sunday, and it&#8217;s full of patience and forgiveness of mistakes,&#8221; Molly declared.<\/p>\n<p>If given the task to summarize in one sentence what a Christian\u2019s life should be according to Jesus\u2019 teachings in Matthew, chapters 5 through 7, I would say: <em>It\u2019s intentionally living according to a new playbook by adopting different approaches.<\/em> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0That instead of viewing an opponent as someone in need of punishment, this person should be the object of prayer.
