Here\u2019s your invite to this evening\u2019s TGIF get-together,\u201d Stephanie said, handing over a postcard. \u00a0\u201cThank you,\u201d Michelle said, taking the postcard.\u00a0 \u201cAfter having to apologize for saying the wrong thing to a co-worker, a TGIF to let off steam sounds perfect. \u00a0Just two things, is it alright to show up in jeans?\u00a0\u00a0I know the ones I\u2019ve been to in the past were really laid back. \u00a0And does BYOB apply?\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u201cNo worries,\u201d Stephanie assured, \u201cthe same dress code applies tonight as it does on Sundays, come as you are. \u00a0And don\u2019t worry about BYOB; Bibles will be supplied. \u00a0See you soon at Thank God I\u2019m Forgiven!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While TGIF is widely recognized as &#8220;Thank God It\u2019s Friday&#8221; to celebrate the end of a workweek, another spiritual version isn&#8217;t as familiar.\u00a0 However, when considering its magnitude, &#8220;Thank God I\u2019m Forgiven&#8221; far outweighs its counterpart. Since every person seeking salvation through Jesus Christ and remaining in good standing thereafter will need forgiveness from God, who willingly grants it to those with repented hearts.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating the end of a Monday-Friday workweek is normal and justifiable.
