{"id":12655,"date":"2026-04-19T19:45:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T19:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/?page_id=12655"},"modified":"2026-04-19T20:38:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T20:38:18","slug":"becoming-an-angel-friday-april-25-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2beencouraged.com\/blog\/becoming-an-angel-friday-april-25-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Becoming\u00a0An Angel\u00a0&#8211; Friday, April 24, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained\u00a0 angels unawares \u2013 <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Hebrews 13:2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I saw an angel today,<br \/>\nBut not in a perceived way.<br \/>\nThe person\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0descend from the air\u2014<br \/>\nThere were no wings or long white hair.<br \/>\nJust an ordinary human being,<br \/>\nWho allowed me to be seen\u2014<br \/>\nBy taking the time<br \/>\nTo place my need on their mind.<br \/>\nYes, an angel came my way,<br \/>\nAnd I hope to be the same for someone today.<\/p>\n<p>I was inspired to compose the opening poem after a conversation with a man while we awaited our cars to be serviced.\u00a0 He shared the assistance received from a stranger due to his limited mobility. \u00a0I shared how God will place angels in our midst to help us during times of need. It led me to visualize the man&#8217;s experience and his desire to emulate.<\/p>\n<p>Becoming an angel is an extraordinary way to demonstrate God\u2019s love to those who need to see it in human form. \u00a0It\u2019s also a wonderful way of reciprocating what has been received from others in the past.\u00a0 Sometimes the simplest gesture of kindness is all that\u2019s needed to make another\u2019s life better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained\u00a0 angels unawares \u2013 Hebrews 13:2 I saw an angel today, But not in a perceived way.
