I\u2019m testing to see what\u2019s needed to get me to feel like doing what I don\u2019t want to do,\u201d Alex responded. \u201cPossibly having faith in Mommy, who is leaving work early, to punish will help your contemplation.&#8221; \u201cWhoa, I suddenly feel motivated,\u201d Alex said, scrambling to his feet.<\/p>\n<p><em>Reacting obediently doesn&#8217;t mean you don&#8217;t want to react resistively.
