Full Disclosure Agreement – Wednesday, February 4, 2026

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels – Luke 9:26

During a recent episode of Law & Order, it was uncovered that a friend and former co-worker of a murder victim had critical information that, if disclosed, would likely guarantee a guilty verdict for the man on trial. However, this woman had received a considerable sum of money and signed a non-disclosure agreement, precluding her from releasing sensitive details about her boss, the defendant.   This will never be the case for Christians; we’ve instead been commissioned with a full disclosure agreement to testify about our relationship with God.

Being transparent is spoken of in many parts of the Bible, for example, in Psalm 96:3, which says: ”Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.”  Then in Mark 5:19, after Jesus had healed a man possessed of demons, when He commanded: “Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”

God will never give us instructions, including sharing personal faith, without opportunities to fulfill them.  Therefore, we need only be ready when called upon to give a full disclosure about our relationship with God.
